Why two central A/C units can change generator size
Homes with two A/C systems need to consider whether the units can start at the same time and whether controls can stage them. HVAC equipment is especially important because a compressor or blower motor may need substantially more power for a few seconds at startup than it uses while running.
How to include it in a whole-home calculation
- Add the normal running watts for the home loads you want available.
